James Barmore EPK
Born in Detroit Michigan, the Motown native turned California performer and producer taps into the true soul and feeling of today's music industry that has not always been visible. Trailblazing is not easy, but carving his own path has been one of the many qualities Barmore possesses. Starting with development from indie label InRage Entertainment, to becoming signed, and then independent gave him the necessary tools and knowledge to begin to create his brand. His path has led him to work for the likes of Snoop Dogg, recorded on Usher Raymond's "Hard II Love" Album, as well as sing behind EGOT award winning artist John Legend and more.
James is a student of his craft. Paying homage to all of the great performers before him that influence the music genre that he calls "Modern Nostalgia". Barmore recently released his first indie produced and collaborated project, "Lavender". Lavender expands the contemporary soul/ R&B sound in a ultramodern approach.
